Just want to say hello to all the dog lovers on this website. My husband and I are the parents to an older beagle(Penny)adopted from the Humane Society.We had another beagle Snoopy that is now watching us from doggie heaven. When we adopted Penny from the Humane Society.Our counselor said that she might have problems with male authority figures all this occuring as she is licking her new daddy's face like there was no tomorrow.Dogs are smart more than we humans give them credit for.They know a "good"person from a 'bad"person. Penny has had seizures and a stroke. She is doing ok. We love her no matter what. I also have had a stroke/seizures,along with memory loss.We also have been adopted by a cat that our neighbors left behind when they moved.Her name is Kit Kat.She is black/white domestic short hair.She is housebroken and gets along with Penny. We just can't understand how anyone can leave an animal behind. Anyway thanks for listening/reading this. Emails are welcome. :
