I am looking for some new books to read and I love to read pet stories. If you've got any animal book suggestions feel free to share!

| The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein! OMG THE BEST BOOK EVER! This is the first book i ever actually wanted to finish. I would go to bed at night wondering what was going to happen in the next chapter. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!!!!

Marley and Me. A great tear-jerker
Or if you like fiction, the book Dog On It by Spencer Quinn is a good mystery novel, and the dog is telling the story, so you get it from his perspective, which is makes it funny if you're a dog person.

Have you read "The Darkest Evening of the Year" by Dean Koontz? I don't normally read his books but knowing that I'm a dog person someone recommended it to me and it was good.

I just bought "The Art of Racing in the Rain"...hope I like it. I liked Marley & Me as well...it was better than the movie. Has anyone read "Rescuing Sprite"? It kind of sounds like a knock-off of Marley & Me just from reading what it's about.
