is your dog still coughing a lot and yaking? something like dry-heaving? vomiting mucous? both of my dogs were vaccinated for kennel cough and both got it two years ago anyway. the vet recommended regular, straight up robitussin. not robitussin-d or any of the other varieties,,, i dont recall the dosage- call your vet, dont take it to the dog park or around any friends until it's better. if it is kennel cough, its VERY contagious. mine picked it up in the air from some other kennel-cough-having-dog in the neighborhood; the good news on k.c. is that it isnt usually life-threatening.

on the other hand, she might just have something stuck in her tract somewhere and the grass is to help eliminate the problem. i had a dog once that ate grass for three straight days (we were camping) and then vomited an entire corn cob.

cheers and good luck.

If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them.  ~Phil Pastoret

good! glad to hear shes better. i know what you mean about the 300. seems like a small price to pay for peace of mind and a healthy dog though! Have a great day
