Hi, my dog has had a stroke and our vet is not very helpful. So is there anything anyone can suggest to help with recovery. Should I give her arnica? She is eating and drinking and is happy, but her head keeping hanging to the right and then when she tries to walk she can but then starts to circle. So as I said any help would be greatly appreciated.

do you have good communication with your vet?
Sometimes the vet will act like that, when the animal is going to be fine.
If you are not 100% confident in your current vet, then get a second opinion.

Hi, thanks for your reply. The vet says it is a stroke but there is nothing they can really do. So we have given her some canine asprin, as well as arnica not together mind you. She seems to show signs of improvement. When she first had the stroke her head sort of hung to the right now it is only a little bit tilted. At first her right eye was droopy now not as much. She is  alert and wants to follow us everywhere, but if we sit then she sits and rests. So if anyone has any other ideas or thoughts on what we can do it would helpful. Thanks
