| I am thinking about getting a Chinapoo which is a poodle mixed with a chinese crested powderpuff. I have tried to find pictures of a grown one but becasue they are not too popular I have not been able to find any. Does any one have any pictues of full grown ones? And does anyone own a Chinapoo?

No.
Just a heads up...IMO, reputable breeders don't breed mixed breeds.
Because it's faster, here's a quote from my website as to why I believe this:
Good breeders also do not mix breeds. The only exception would be if their breed needed another breed mixed in to try to help rid of health problems. And I'm not even completely sure of that exception yet. It's basically a myth that mutts are healthier than purebreds, according to my research. I've come to the opinion that health problems in the breeds are due to ignorant breeders not health testing, rather than the gene pool being too small or dog shows or inbreeding.
"What could breeding a mixed breed hurt," you say, "so long as I do all of the health testing and stuff?" First of all, what's the purpose in breeding a mixed breed? There are only a few cases in which there is a tangible purpose for doing so. Second of all, 75% of the dogs in shelters and rescues are mixed breeds. Why make more?
I love mixed breeds. I have a Papillon/Sheltie mix from the shelter.

chinapoo?
What next?
It is a mixed breed, there are plenty of them in shelters.
Save one of those, and quit giving these people that * breed Mixes * your hard earned money.

oh good. i just posted something about this in the breeding section of the forum. seriously, $450. for a MUTT??? who started this, charging several hundreds for a dog you could have gotten at the pound with some patience? PLEASE go the animal shelter and save a life. call the dog whatever breed you want. i'll play. i have a "great lab" i saved from a certain death and hes the BEST DOG IVE EVER HAD- he knows how life COULD be right now, and he was a steal for 30$.

If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them. ~Phil Pastoret

| Why would you want a Crested Poodle cross? What I mean by that question is, are you being drawn to it by some type of "hype" posted about that cross or is there truly some attribute you are trying to find for your next dog companion? If it's a particular attribute you are looking for it may already be found in a pure Poodle or Crested....or in another breed. As for appearance, it could vary as with any mixed breed dog. It may look like a poodle, it may look like a crested, or a combination. It may also look totally unexpected as attributes from grandparents and great grandparents may crop up in the litter. As most dogs contributing to mixed breed/designer bred dogs are usually not good representatives of their respective breeds there can be structural and physical flaws that come out affecting the dogs health and soundness. If you want certain attributes there are many purebreds, from reputable breeders that may offer those attributes. It will just require a search, and probably a wait for the right puppy. If you want a mixed breed, go to the shelter or a rescue and save a life. It's the best place to get a "designer dog"!
