What are Siberian huskies like? I think that they are sooo beautiful! They remind me of wolves, and I love wolves! I would like to have one eventually, although I'm not getting a new dog anytime soon. I just wanted to know what ya'll think about huskies.

Huskies are absoulubtly gorgeous!!  I'm with you I love the wolf look
The only thing I'm not fond of with huskies is the fact that they've got a very large prey drive and are pretty stubbourn lol

If they are raised with cats they ussually are. I think their main downfall (besides being stubborn) is they shed like HECK!!! If their was a "Who Sheds the Most" Contest then Huskies would win!!! Have you seen the Alaskan Klee Kais? ADOREABLE MINI HUSKIES!!!

We had huskies and pitbulls ( still have pits) when I was a little and they were awesome dogs, VERY smart but yet very stubborn, you have to have the time to work with them. They can be great with all other animals if raised and introduced properly. They are beautiful dogs. We had red ones and the greyish ones. They are very neat and have great personialties, very entertaining lol.

Yep they are really gorgeus and i actually have one in my neighbor hood and she is a true beauty and because wolves are like in colder climates like the North and South huskies are usually used in alaska for sled races and since they are from a colder climate they have fur that keeps them warm. But If you live in like a desert or city then it may be hard having a husky. But if you live in a suburban where it can be ht and cold/cool because of the wheather then thats fine!! Hope you got a lot of info from me!

Animals are not to be treated rude but to be treated nice and respectedly. I love animals!!

Get an Alaskan Husky. They are just the same, really, only they are mixed, so they can be mixed with a lab for calmness, a border collie, ect ect they are a type of dog, not a breed. A nordic kind, so they still look like huskys, maybe not exactly, but still, they are the beasties who pull people around Alaska, the Iditarod champs. Purebred huskeys don't have the drive these guys can get. But then again,  not everyone is looking to sled 1000 miles in Alaska....

                   My dog is smarter than

                           yours!!!

We had a Siberian Husky a few years ago, and she was an amazing dog. She loved being outdoors all day, basking in the sun and going out for long walks to meet new people. Though Huskies do shed a lot, and that's one problem we had all year long and she could not be trusted with our cats.
