But killing these puppies during development is just like having them euthanized. There are plenty of people who would love a Shi-Tzu mix puppy. That is why the owner must be prepared to screen new homes carefully.

Well, it's the OP's choice and the OP'S choice alone, but again...I think the pups being euthanized is better than losing the mother--and possibly the puppies anyway--just because the dog is too young to have even a maternal instinct. Because of her being impregnated at so young an age, this could cause problems for them all. I hate aborting, but if I had a puppy that had an oops litter at that age, I'd rather lose the puppies than to lose her.
