My pup is going to be 15 weeks old Sunday. He's really cute and he loves playing fetch with anything. He likes to hunt birds already and has pointed twice. He stands really good and has great markings (pics below) So what should I be thinking about for doing with him? No matter what I decide to do, I would have to drive at least an hour to show him. My dad is planning on hunting with him in September, and we are going to see a field trial in late September/early October. I am just curious as to what people think I should train him in and their opinions on the different things.

Thanks.

Achilles weak spot was his heel.
Mine is Tucker Patroklos Delano.

he is a hunting, tracking breed, so, entertain him with that in mind.
Do not overdo it in the first month, but slowly get him used to what he is bred to do.
He will be a much better companion, not bored or understimulated.

I agree with the hunting tracking for a brittany! I would also do some agility with him. We have a brittany in my sons 4-h club and that dog is FAST!!!

Brittanys are naturally hunting dogs, so you could definetly do that with yer pup(adorable by the way!) But really, you could try any sport you wanted.

Good luck!!! Keep us updated!

beautiful pup!!  I always found that brittany's were beautiful dogs
And you could really do any of those things with her, but like everyone else says, A Brittany is definantly a real hunting dog!
