just got back!
unfortunatly I haven't recieved Dusty's UKC papers yet and of course this show didn;t have any temporary listing numbers so I will have to wait to show him next weekend.
Belle got Best of Breed and group 4 placement first show! and reserve female for the second show so she is now only 20 points away from her UKC championship! hopefully I can finish her next weekend, so I can concentrate on Dusty and maybe get get Belle herding instinct tested before I breed her this winter.
speaking of suspense hows the pups doing??

That's great about Belle! I'm so happy for you... I'm honestly considering doing some UKC myself since I've heard it is a bit easier than AKC. No profesional handler competition must be a blast! I'll start a new thread on my puppies in the Breeders Roundtable... since it is off topic. I've never shared.... I don't know why...

UKC is a blast it is such a relaxed show and most of the people are very friendly and willing to help. I want to start showing Dusty in AKC soon, but I want to get him started in UKC first just to get him used to showing.

| Congratulations on the show results! I planned to try a UKC show this past spring, but at the last minute skipped it. The laid back atmosphere does sound appealing. Although I love the competitiveness of the AKC ring. It makes for a better handler and better dog in some ways. Still I look forward to trying UKC at some point. I love that you can enter the day of the show! That works so much better for my current schedule! Less money lost from shows I enter but don't attend. My Siberian has been out to shows (AKC) recently with her breeder. Although I love to show, I just don't have the time or money right now so I allowed her breeder/co-owner to take her. She has been racking up the points winning at least one day of every weekend. She picked up her first major about three weeks ago, and her second this past weekend. She also took a Breed win from the classes. She needs 1 single point to finish. I'm hoping she does it at the next local show so I can watch.
