good for you!!! Its always nice to meet a fellow pitbull lover. I have had two pitbulls in my life my first one was a hyperactive lets play all the time pup. We would walk him for an hour in the morning then i would go to school and my mom would play fetch with him for 30 minutes then i would get home and walk him up and down the block for 30 minute and then after my homework we would take him on another hour long walk and after all this he would still come up to us with a toy asking to play. My current pitbull is the laziest dog you could ever meet she is so cute and needy she wants be by your side at all times and she still thinks she is a lap dog even though she is 55 pounds and she is only a year old. i love all dogs including pit bulls and jack(former pitbull) and jill(current pitbull) are proof that all that stuff on pitbulls being aggressive maneaters is wrong. here are pictures of both of them. I don't like pit bulls they are ugly and they scare me more of a jack russell person sorry not trying to be mean You think there ugly because your scared of them. Im sure your scared and dont like them, because you've never been around them and believe all of the horrible things people say about them. If you read and do research on pitbulls, youll find many things that say they were the nanny and watched the kids, and even tho they were used for bull baiting and other fighting sports they were never allowed to be aggresive towards people NEVER they had to be loyal and loving to all family and humans even in the fighting ring. But like I said before I have 3, well now I have a litter of 11, I have 2 adults, a puppy, and 11 newborns, and 1 argentino dogo, and i love them all. Only dogs I would ever own for the rest of my life. And I also breed pitbulls.

I was just wondering who's against pitbulls?I love Pit Bulls! I've rescued many Pit puppies over the years and have gotten them into local shelters so they could have a chance at a better life. I wish I could have a Pit. My town enacted a law not long ago that basically banned Pit Bull ownership. People can have them, but there's a limit of 2 per household and you must pay $500 to the city for each one. Anyone caught in non-compliance is heavily fined and may be forced to give up their Pits in the process due to the fact they don't have the money to cover the steep fine. I feel sorry that Pit Bulls must be banned from a town due to a few bad owners and how they treat or not treat their dogs. I think banning isn't the answer. Teaching people how to be responsible pet owners is the answer.

I don't have anything against pit bulls. I used to be kind of intimidated by them whenever I would see them, but after reading the previous posts it seems kind of silly to be scared of them. The ones I saw didn't seem aggressive toward people anyway. I wasn't really sure what the true temperment of pitbulls are because I haven't ever really interacted with them. I know of some people who have pit bulls or pitbull mixes and they said that they are really sweet and after reading these posts it seems to me that most of them are nice dogs and not mean like they are made out to be. And they are kinda cute....
