Do you think that people who don't have a dog but really really want one should be able to just take a random picture from, say, Google and make up a name and stuff to put on Club Dog? Please say what you think!

The thing that bugs me about this is that the people start saying that it's there real dog and begin to lie about it.If they want to do that they should put *virtual dog* On the name place.

| Personally I find it wrong all together. You shouldnt just take a pic from anywhere and post unless you got permission from the acutual owner of the photo to post it! If you really want a Club dog profile and you don't have a dog...why not take a pic of one of your stuffed dog animals? I mean it is yours and your photo! The whole virtual puppy thing is out of control on there! They got a bad reputation on there anyway, so your chances of getting DOTD on there are even lower because of the bad rep. the other people have given "virtual dogs".

I have to agree with starry on half of what she said, stealing a photo is stealing a photo weather or not you put *virtual*. You would need proper permission from the owner of the photo or you would basically be doing "plagiarism". Second I disagree that you should use a stuffed animal and post it on Dog Channel. This is a site for real dogs!! Not to create 100 fake dog profiles, get points, free stuff. I say if you don't own a dog and you want to be on a site go to the store, buy a webkinz dog and play with it on there. I think webkinz are $7.99 and sometimes they put them on sale. That is just my personal opinion.
