| My dear baby boy is gone. My little Rebel was hit by a car last night. He was dead by the time we got back to the house, so withing just a few minutes. He was a little Pomeranian, so he didn't stand much of a chance. He was not even a year old yet. He was just a baby. His collar unsnapped and he took off. I guess he thought it was a game. I have been crying forever it seems like and the tears keep coming. My other dog keeps looking for him. Romeo will not eat, and he will not drink. I am so worried and heartbroken.

I had a cat that was run over by a car several years ago. It hurts. In my experience, the pain of loss never goes away completely, it just eases up over time. Even now, I still tear up after looking at her pictures.

Great memories can help. Your dog may be gone, but your memory of him will never go away.
Here's a great poem that I found a great comfort on my kittie's would-have-been-birthday:
If tears could build a stairway
If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane.
I would walk right up to heaven and bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken.
No time to say "Goodbye"
You were gone before I knew it and only God knows why.
My heart still aches with sadness and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to love you. No one can ever know.
But now I know you want me to mourn for you no more.
To remember all the happy times life still has much in store.
Since you will never be forgotten I pledge to you this day.
A hallowed place within my heart is where you'll always stay.
Here's a video that has also helped me:

sorry to hear about your loss.
All you can do, to make it easier , is to spend more time with your other dog, so he does not grief too much.
Our Dogs are not spoiled,we're just well trained
