Who comes up with the ideas for the challenges? Who's idea was it to use an elephant, and how in the world did you all get the ok for it?! I was really impressed with how Andrew handled the elephant. He just sat there and watched it come right at him, without blinking an eye. He didn't look scared at all. If anything, I'd say he was more curious about the elephant than frightened. It also made me think of how people talk about small dogs perceiving themselves as bigger than they are, and vice versa.
I could tell it was going to be hard to pick someone to eliminate, and I'm sure it'll only get harder from now on, since you all have narrowed it down to the "best of the best". I was sad to see Bill and Star leave. Star did admirably on the challenge, even if she didn't jump. But after last week's fiasco in the maze, I think Star had just finally "burned out" and was ready to leave.
I really hope Galaxy's injury isn't serious and that they won't have to leave.

I would love to try out for it if there is :o) I cant wait to see next's week show!! I am so glad that there is finally a reality show about dogs and their owners :o) Keep up the good work.

Okay, this week I don't have to much to say. Other then I had tears in my eyes to see bill and star go home. Sad moment right there.
Second of all, It was the judges who told Bill last week to not "push" his dog to do the challanges and to call it quits when he feels like it is to much for his dog. So what does Bill do? Makes sure that the "ramp" will be okay for his dog and he don't keep trying to get his dog to jump and he makes sure that it isnt over his dogs limits and he still gets heck for it. That there is "sad" and the judges fault. They shouldn't give advice out and then give them heck for it later on. Unfair.
Wendy is always fast to say how she "hates" Leroys barking, well if she hates it so much why don't she give her pointers on how to control the barking? Obviously the owner don't know how to control the barking. I think Wendy can be nice but she can also be stuck up and wishy washy in what she says. I really wish she would learn to "push" her stuck up nose down.
I think Travis took the comments from the judges the wrong way. I felt like everything the judges said was true and now it is down to the nitty-gritty he was worse then Leroy in the challange because leroy did sit and stay at the tower. I would like to see in the next season maybe once they get down that low, they make it a bottom "2" instead of 3 because that makes no sense.
I have this bad feeling that Galxey will be going home due to the injery. I feel bad for the poor dog. I do think that in an event of a challange injery that pulls them out, they should get some kind of reward or something because it isn't fair. Other then that, I have a feeling that Travis will be going home.
For the bone sweet, I was glad that Andrew one because Travis had one it so many times, let someone who hasn't had the chance to have it yet, have it.
So that is all I have to say this week. Now that Bill is gone, I have to choose a new favorite. So here is a list of the dogs that I want to win the most in order.
Presley, Leroy, Galxey, Andrew
Oh, one final thing, Allan...can you tell me why last week you told him not to "push" his dog past his dogs "limits" then this week he gets put down for taking your advice? I mean c'mon!! I don't know what judge said that, but it needs to be corrected. Poor guy got mixed signals.

"Every time you smile, I smile, every time you shine I shine for you.- Taylor Swift." "Did it again, I got it all wrong, if felt so right I can't believe it, all the mistakes that went on for to long wish there was a way I could delete it, ay, ay, ay.- Shakira"
6/26/09, Forever & Always. I love you Daniel. =]

Please explain to me why the judges seem to be so hard on Travis---the one who appears to have learned the most (not being a professional trainer like the others) and to be working the hardest? It looked to me like Presley did everything he was asked to. Travis made every effort to calm Presley down between sections---and Presley obeyed. I was completely flabbergasted by the judges' criticism.
How was he worse than Theresa, whose dog barked and veered back and forth at the top of the zip line? She continually has told her dog to "Shut up!", while Travis has shown unending patience with an immature boxer.
I have to agree that this show seems poorly planned, and that you, as judges, should have seen all of the other challenges, at the very least. Personally, I think you should have been allowed to observe their everyday behavior as well. You would certainly have been able to make more informed judgments. As it is, you, the contestants, and the viewers, have been ill-served.

I was sorry to see bill and star leave, but I know it had to be a very hard descision. I thought the challange was very hard and was impressed by the number of dogs that did make the jump! I feel sorry for J.D. and galaxy I have a dog that had a very similar limp and it turned out to be soft tissue damage of the shoulder, and that type of injury and it takes months to heal! I hope he gets better soon. also what would you judges have Teresa do to stop Leroy's barking? As the owner of 3 shelties I know how much herding dogs like to bark, and while I think some of the barking can be controlled, it is hard to stop an excited dog from barking. you see it all the time in agility a lot of the bc's and shelties will bark through the whole course. I feel as long as he is doing what he is supposed to, and he is having fun let him bark! I think Travis and Presley have really improved since the beggining of the show. they seem to be better bonded now! I am really impressed with Laurie and Andrew. It's great to see a toy breed like andrew actually listen and be well trained. too many people turn these smart toy breeds into spoiled brats that no one wants to be around.
I love th show and hope their will be many more of them!

I have a question...Do you base your vote for the dog to go home... just on the "performance" or do you also base it on if you like the "owner" or "breed" ect...?
Second of all I have to agree with Starry*boy that you did tell Bill to not "push" his dog like he did in the puppy challange and in this challange he makes sure he isn't "pushing" Star and then he gets hassle for it. You have to realize that "star" is an old dog and Bill didn't want Star to get hurt like Galxey did. I think some of these judges need to get their dogs to do these challanges "before" they are allowed to judge others on it. You don't "force" an older do to go something hard like JD did and now look at the price he has to pay...having to leave the challange.
Mixed Breeds Rule!!!! ♥Love God♥

I really hope Galaxy's injury isn't serious and that they won't have to leave. The show had professional dog trainers -- including Kirstin, whom we saw last night examining Galaxy -- come up with the challenges. The judges found out what the challenges were when we arrrived the day of the Best in Show eliminations. I agree... little Andrew is amazing. No sense of his own size and Laurie is a great owner-trainer... concerned about her dog but without the need to put clothes on him and think of him as a four-legged child. I hope "big dog people" watch the show and realize that small dogs don't have to be clingy, barky wimps. Little Andrew rocks! Preston the white Pomeranian (with the Mohawk!) was another cool little dog with a great sense of himself.

Laura. and DieselDid you see how depressed we all looked when we had to vote Star off? We loved Star and Bill. Such a kind, loving man with a great sense of humor, and Star such an equally loving dog. I think she was beginning to burn out last week with the puppies in the maze. A Canadian version of the show would be a cool idea. A Brittany is a great breed, I agree. Glad you're enjoying the show.

As it is, you, the contestants, and the viewers, have been ill-served.Thanks for your interesting and articulately expressed comments. I don't think we were hard on Travis and Presley. As we near the end of the series and with fewer contestants competing, we are having to nit pick... and the judges were always instructed to find positives and negatives in each performance. As judges we always tried to find that balance. On each episode, each of us gave each contestant positive and negative comments. But the shows are only an hour long and so a huge amount of footage that was shot got edited out. A lot of viewers have commented that the judges should have been able to observe the behind-the-scenes action; the practices; the Dog Bone challenges. However, from what I know or have seen of reality TV shows, this is not typically done. If a chef thinks one of his fellow contestants has turned off his stove to sabotage his dish, or a couple of designers are having difficulties getting along, the judges don't know about it. They appear only at the end to judge the final dish or dress or doggy performance.
