Bill leave? Huh? What I saw was Beth Joy and Bella Starlette leave. I'm glad Bill and Star are still in it, though. I would've been sad if they'd had to leave, though considering how Star did not like the puppies, and how disappointing it was for Bill to have pushed her like he did, it would've been understandable. And after seeing Teresa and Leroy's brilliant performance, I knew they were gonna get "top dog".

First of all, I want to bow down to al lthe dogs who were able to dig!! I know that my dog don't know how to dig and he wouldnt stand in a box and dig, he would of started to listen for my voice and walk around looking for another way to get me out. So, I don't blaim bella scarlet for not digging but I want to say, I can't believe how agressive she has been.

In the leg up, I felt like it was wrong of those people to get mad at Travis for not saying what the leg up was about. He promised Bill he wouldn't and when you make a promise you have to keep it. I never herd him say or promise anyone that he would tell them about the leg up. Them people prob. figured that if they helped him in training, he would help them in the leg up. Your not suppose to "do" and expect to get in return. Anyway, I thought it was nice that they got a phone call home .

During the challange, I was impressed how well Leroy did. It is all in the blood line though. I had a feeling that Presley would do that but gotta give him credit because toward the end he did go back to see the puppies. I felt bad for Star having to do that, but I think maybe he didn't wanna be a quiter and not even try to complete the challange which could of got him sent home. So even though he pushed Star, and the dog almost bit, he still did it within the time.

What the heck, the judges fighting over galxey's owners methods. What childness. I really hope that Wendy isn't a judge next season. Dispite how she turned it around and started being nice, she still has to learn to think before she speaks.

Anyway, I have a question for Allan, how come you didn't put Andrew in the bottom 3? I thought he was clearly worse than Presley at the challange. You noticed that Andrew, Bella and Star all went to snip at the puppies and Presley didn't. Little courious on that.

I was glad Bella was sent home. She clearly wasn't wanting to be there anymore and I was honestly, sick of her crying over every little thing. I think Bella was just a tired pup who wanted to be home in her own terratory away from all the other dogs and having to do challanges.

Oh well that is my input this week.

I agree with your evaluation of the contestants. Leroy was truly herding. JD very cleverly had Galaxy sit-stay periodically to let the puppies catch up but I didn't see her take much interest in the puppies during that five-minute "acclimation" period. Was she "leading" or simply obeying his commands?
As for Star, like a lot of old dogs, she would find bratty puppies annoying and so we saw her being rather cranky. Little Andrew wasn't thrilled to have three boisterous Golden Retriever puppies -- each of which outweighed him! -- pulling his tail and ears so he wasn't a happy camper either.

Thanks for your input. Not having seen the Dogbone Challenge before, I too was impressed by how well most of the dogs did. Most of us do not train our dogs to deliberately "dig."

I think herding dogs like Border Collies and even Border Collie crosses (like Galaxy) would find "leading" or herding less of a challenge than a Toy breed like Andrew. Each of those Golden puppies outweighed him and the three of them bombdiving him would have frightened him or at least upset him.
