| wow, what a terrible thing to do! I can't believe parents could be like that. I'm so sorry, but I know what it feels like. We had my cat for 11 years....11, i grew up with him. We move into a new place (same state, same city) and my parents just want to throw him out on the street, like he's nothing! I couldn't believe it. I told them that I was going where he was going. If they were going to get rid of him, I mentioned they should get rid of me too I eventually moved and Turbo still couldn't stay with me due to the rules of my grandparents (whom I stayed with to establish residency). I also couldn't keep my dog. My dog ended up getting loose, haven't seen him since. If he was in MY care, I would have never let that happen. Again, I'm so sorry. I can't stand people who don't appreciate their animals. We do everything in our power to take care of them and protect them and it only takes a second for someone else to ruin that. Some parents are just so cruel. It's different when you have an animal for 1 day compared to having it for 9, 10 years. It grows up with you, it's just wrong to suddenly throw him on the street or into another family.
Samson, wishing you were here....but never giving up hope.

Wow, how sad. What type of dog? If she is yours, then I would do EVERYTHING possible to find her. Put up papers offer to buy her back at a ridiculous price, but it is worth it!

| -Growls through teeth- I am super sorry for your loss; you and Lokato didn't deserve such a horrid situation. Your mother sounds like a selfish person! Of course, I imagine you don't mind me saying so? Anyways, yus, if you're under Eight-teen... I think that's a no-go. Surely, surely, they would concern you more in such a situation? Nor your parents, but, the vet's, police, anybody? Ugh. "Techincally their property" that still dosen't give her any right! I'm so sorry for your situation; I desparetly which I could help you out. I'm sorry if I'm just fuel to the infuriated flame, but, I just can't help but be sad and furious for your loss. I hope you get Lokato back, and, feel free to PM me, or just speak with me here, on the forums, if you ever want support. I'm here for you. {Excuse any typos; they lurk.} Siggy coming soon. ~~ Hunt5.

I do not understand your Mom but a lot of people gave you good advice and good luck. I hope you recover your dog.
