Star seemed to have the most fun of all the dogs during the dancing contest. While Andrew and Laurie's routine was good, I thought Star and Bill would win. What was the criteria for choosing the winner?

I think I have to agree with the post above - Star and Bill certainly seemed to be having more fun. Was he judged more harshly because he had the "leg up?" If so, then it seems like it wasn't a "leg up" at all.

Also, do you know if the contestants got to do a "dress rehearsal" at all? It seemed like many of the dogs were uncomfortable with the costumes, and the owners weren't aware it was going to be a problem (Laura and Preston immediately come to mind).

I wouldn't say Bill and Star were judged more harshly. Star is a wonderful dog, she did that spontaneous dash off the stage to visit with the judges, and Bill is such a good sport. We were certainly very complimentary in our comments to him. We thought Laurie showed a lot of imagination in her routine and Andrew was pretty up. A very energetic performance from JD and Galaxy as well.

Don't know about the "dress rehearsals" since judges were privy only to the performances in the Best in Show arena. Not everyone is a "natural" dancer -- and that includes me! -- and perhaps that was one of Laura's issues. They weren't their usual confident selves.

Okay, well first of all I was HAPPY no to low of a word to use..how about ESTATIC to see beacon go home! No offence, but how did she even get into the Greatest american dog (gad) final 12?!? Please tell me someone!! That is the most WORST behaved dog, I have ever seen.

Intresting competetion this time! Once again, I hate that judge that holds the little dog, I don't know her name but she needs to be FIRED. She always has a "rude" comment for everyone. I have seen 7 year olds, control what they say BETTER than her. I hope next season, they get someone to fill in her shoes. Other then that, I think Allan and the brittish lady do a good job judging!! Just need to throw out the other lady lol.

Okay, first I have to say how sweet that was of Leroys owner to give up the bone sweet to Bill. That was really nice and it came from the goodness of her heart because she gave up a step up in the challange. I liked that twist alot and I hope that it says! Although, I would of liked to see people still get sent to the dog house!! LOL

Next, I feel like Star did the best job at the dancing challange than Andrew. I know, star had training but If you didn't wanna give best in show to them because of that, I thought Galxey was the next best choice for best in show other then Andrew. That is my opinion!

I liked the music choice selection. I have to say...I LOVED TRAVIS and his PREFORMANCE. Could be because I am 100% COUNTRY MUSIC FAN!!! Gotta love the fiddle and the steel guitar! I am sorry but I felt like with that, it was a matter of music prefrence for the judges on that one. I feel like, they didn't like country so they lowered his preformance. Y'all need to hear some good "real" country music. . I really hate when people dont like a preformance because of the music style. I don't like hip-hop nor broadway, disco and i still liked the performances!

I wrote that above because I felt that because Presley was in the bottom three. I felt like Bella Scarlet should of been in the bottom three because she didnt even do the tricks that well, and she touched paws to dance unlike presley. That is why, I felt it was just a hate for "country" music. I could see the one lady judges expression when country music started it was Unfair, and made me unhappy. I am the biggest country music fanatic you will ever meet in your life, I got 2 people from the DC boards, who hated country to like country now. Those two people are Spencer and Junior.

Last but not least, Beacons owner needs a grip!!! She was crying like a big baby. A dog will not respond to that at all. It was disapointing to see a grown woman, who I saw just got married on dogster, who acts like that. I pitty her children, when she starts a family.

That is how I felt this week. Can't wait for next weeks episode!

I really enjoyed watching JD and galaxy and Bill and Star's dance, Laurie and Andrews was good too. And when( i beleive it was teresa) gave Bill and Star the Suite and the leg up that was very thoughtful and i hope enough to keep Bill and star motivated I also think it was very nice of Travis to help Brandy and Beacon. I mean after it is a compitition and though all of them want to win it's great they help eachother on the way

I have to say that, although I missed Tillman greatly this week, I'm thinking he wouldn't have fared well in either of this week's challenges. He would've enjoyed playing in the mud, though.

Honestly, it'd be hard not to be stressed out about doing a dance competition with only two days to create and rehearse it. They're doing some very difficult stuff here!

I definitely think Bethjoy and Bella Starlet should've been in the bottom three. While Presley looked a little bored, he did what Travis asked of him, where Bella didn't. And I think Preston was a little intimidated by the sequins and glitter of Laura's costume. Still, I can't help but wonder if the judges chose Travis and Laura to give them a wakeup call that they need to pick up their game.

Now if we just kick Bethjoy off next week, we'll have an interesting competition.

Teresa's gift to Bill made me sniffle. I can totally see myself giving away the dog bone suite, but I don't know if I'd give up the leg-up challenge. I was not thrilled with Teresa's treatment of Leroy during the photo shoot challenge in the previous week, but I gotta give her props for this.

Still, it would've been fun to see Ron and Tillman do a ballet dance.
