I was watching Taboo the other day and it was about pets.It showed that some people actually Taxidermy their deceased pets. For those of you who don't know, to taxidermy is when you skin a dead animal and stuff it.I thought it would be an interesting topic because people may have different opinions about this. One lady had a dog named Cody.Well, he was her best freind and when her husband died she was heartbroken.Cody helped her grieve and when Cody died, well the lady wasn't ready for him to leave her.My thought is that it is quite bizarre for people to do this.I wouldn't do it but i guess some people want a permanent memory of them. You would think the dogs collar would be a memory enough....

So what are your opinions? Btw, this better not lead to a fight.

Me neither!! Some people cut the dogs head off and stuff it, and put it up on the wall just like they do with deer.Creepy...

Wow NOnononon!!!!!!  I suppose I could see why people would do it, but its seems rather disturbing to me...

I'd also just keep the collar.

Just the thought of having a stuffed dead dog hanging on the wall is disturbing and creepy...

eww...

When Moose died, I had him cremated. I have his ashes in a real nice wooden box and I saved his collar. Getting a dog stuffed is just not my speed. Kinda creepy.
