i think it's like a program or something, or just people, who go around creating false accounts and spamming forums, some trying to get you to go to a particular site for something or other (sometimes porn-related) or try to get you to email them for a similar reason (and usually have a yahoo email address). typically, one tip-off is that the grammar in the emails are not the best, and a lot of them are some form of "i saw your profile and would like to meet. please email me..."
one tip off to me on the one that i posted was that "she" mentioned she was looking for a man and saw my profile and was interested in me. well, if she had seen my profile, "she" should have noticed that i'm female, not male.

| You know, I got an Instant Message on my AIM the other day from a complete stranger and it was something about dating and whatnot and I replied asking "who are you" and it replied saying "looking for singles in your area?" I am pretty sure it is a robot. Although, I don't understand how they can register with the "code" you have to punch in. Edit** what is his/her username here on the boards?
