Cant think of her name off the top of my head; but the one with the attitude. Right from the start she didnt want people petting her dog. My thought on that is why enter if you dont want to socialize your dog with folks. Plus she kept maneuvering her dog which they caught her on. If it wasnt her then they made the right choice but she would have been my first choice. I didnt like her attitude from the start and it shows in her dog.

YUP!! That is the one. From the start, she did not set well with me at all with her attitude. I mean in all seriousness, why would you even enter a competetion like this if you do not want your dog being touched by folks??? That makes no sense. I mean my dog loves to socialize. She is a therapy dog and we go to the Veterans Hospital and she loves everyone. I would not want her not to be petted by people, especially people who love dogs. I am guessing that everyone that entered this thing, loves dogs so why would you even state that?? Makes no sense.
But she would have been my first choice. But its just my opinion.

That was my thought too and I thought okay maybe I am overreacting but I just thought from the start that she was in the wrong competition. That whole thing about not wanting anyone to touch her dog just set me off from the start. The way the judges were looking, I thought for sure she was going to be gone. As I said, she would have been my first choice. Brinks agreed. LOL!!!! We watched together. LOL!!!

Ya I was watching this show earlier today it was pretty cool! But I always like shows that have dogs! Can't wait for next weeks ep. ! Can some of the dogs in the show be mixed? Because I think I saw a mixed dog in todays ep. Or do they have to be purebred?

| I'm curious as to how the first 12 contestants are chosen. Was there a competition for this ? I found the show to be quite similar to "Big Brother" ... do they (Greatest American Dog) plan on showing more "behind the scenes" ? I want to see how all these dogs (and humans) are going to react to each other, living in the same house.

First of all Victoria is Awsome! I watch It's Me Or the Dog EVERY day!
Now, I do agree with Michael going. He's a great performer, but the show is about the DOG, not the person!
I also agree with not 'pushing' the dogs rear down to get it to obey. I don't remember the name of the white dog and the owner who was getting married?
But my biggest annoyance, was the one who dressed her dog in a full on insulated vest in 90 degree weather! Then she actually expected the dog to perform well!?! The dogs body can't release the heat if there's a sweater there! No wonder the poor dog didn't listen!
I LOVE the border collie and the giant snauzer(sp?) ADORABLE! | |
