| Mac was a good dog. That's one of the things that I can proudly say about him. We bought him when he was just about eleven weeks old from a West Highland White Terrier breeder in Missouri. He came as a little pot bellied piglet looking pup but I loved him to death right away. I slept with him for the first few nights and we cuddled together when he was scared. He loved digging (but I didn't), going for walks, and playing with his doggie buds. 2006 rolled around pretty fast and on September 19 Mac turned two years old. About a month later on October 27 I had my own birthday. Four days after my birthday (Halloween) on October 31 we bought some candy to chow on as Mac sat by my feet. The next day as we sat around the kitchen table just chatting we heard a scream come from my brother's bedroom. We all rushed there and there was Mac and my brother. Luke, my brother, had blood rushing down his cheeks and Mac's mouth was rimmed with red. Luke had been bitten by Mac and was rushed to the emergency room right away to get stitches. The doctors said that if the bite had been just about a centimeter nearer to his mouth he could've had a horrible infection. Thank God he didn't. I knew Mac had to be put down and I was super sad. For the next ten days that he had to live I spent every single moment with him. The hardest part of losing Mac was when the vet put the shot in Mac and I saw all the life drain right out of him. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I love Mac forever and I always will. Now's he up in Doggie Heaven looking down at me and my new Westie pup that I got a month after he died, Macy. I'm sorry about Mac. I wonder what could of made him bite so hard? At least you have Macy there to comfort you.And i sure believe in doggy heaven cuz i have a lot of people and dogs i have waiting up there for me so we may be reunited.
