Wow. What has this world come to? Pit bulls can actually be nice dogs. I know a few. You should not punish the breed for the deed. The owners are the ones to blame. As you said, it's all how they train them. That is...just weird, to me. I don't know any other way to explain it.

Well this is one of those subjects I can get very passionate about, but I'll try not to start any fights I am definitely extremely against banning "pit bulls" or any other entire breed. It is all about the owner and how they are raised Imo.

I don't think there should be a ban on pit bulls.  Or any breed, I don't think its right to classify one breed on being bad.  Sure, pit bulls have the highest attacking rates, but one out of how many pits actually ever hurt anybody?

Banning them would be like taking a persons right away and this is America and we should have the right to choose what dogs we want. People find the smoking ban taking a right away but it isn't. They are banning it because it is unsafe and causing lung cancer for people who breathe it in, even if you don't want to. So that is banning for health and safety reasons. Getting off topic though.

I understand all those people out there who have that crazy notion that Pitbulls are bad. I used to be one of them, until I owned a Pitbull for the 1st time in my life 2 years ago. I have had every breed you can think of and I "WILL NOT" own another dog unless it's a Pitbull. You have to stop the ignorance. How would you feel if everyone thought you were bad simply because people were talking about you? You wouldn't like it because you know your not that way. Well, neither are Pitbulls. They are the most "LOYAL" dogs "EVER." You have to blame the idiots who treated the breed mean. Lets face it. You can make your dog mean if you kick it, hit it, punch it and tease it every chance you get. It's pathetic. People...get your heads out of your asses and realize this. My mother has a little Chihuahua and is sweet as pie to this dog. She is the meanest dog I have ever seen. I love my Pits and I am sick to death of having to defend their honor all the time. They are the biggest, most loving babies ever, and they love everyone.
