TAKODA HATES HER COLLAR WHEN WE PUT IT ON HER SHE STARTS TO SCRATCH AND WE CALL IT CARPET SURFING. SHE DROPS TO THE FLOOR OR GRASS AND STARTS RUNNING AND USUALLY FINDS AWAY TO GET THE COLLAR OFF.

Well some dogs don't like wearing it becuase it feels weird to them for the first time. Let her wear it when for a few hours each day until she gets use to it.

Definitely takes time to get used to it.. I would try to distract Takoda with a treat or toys when she wears the collar, so she associates it with good things. I wouldn't let her scrape it off, because if she does it once she will learn she can and will try over and over. Key is to keep her focused on other things besides how annoying the collar is

If the collar bothers her so much maybe you should get her microchipped or a tatoo. Just let her wear the collar for short periods of time each day and when you take it off give her a treat.
