| That the current poll about how frequent we would like an e-newsletter from DogChannel.com doesn't include the choice of "Never", the poll is thus of ABSOLUTELY no value since it doesn't give this choice and thus its results will be misleading. The poll should be struck and redone with this choice option.

i agree with starry boy, i've been getting them cause i signed up and at the bottom it dose say "if you dont want these anymore click this link." (it dosent exactly say that though.) but in my own opinion, i love thier newsletters the one about the author ken foster... im ganna look at his books now. also a suggestion, if theres not a choice you like on the poll why vote?

First, if it isn't an opt-in email, it is spam. I would hope that DogChannel.com is a responsible emailer.
Second, what I was talking about was the poll DogChannel.com was conducting. Without giving the choice of "Never", it is an invalid poll since its results do not give poll takers this option. It is like having a poll, "When would you like to be killed?" and not have the "Never" option. What you have is a poll that makes the wrong assumption that everyone wants to get the e-newsletter and I am willing to bet all my points that such is not the case. Unless DogChannel.com wants false false results support a spam campaign, it needs to redo the poll and give the "Never" option so it can get a true picture of preferences.

Such a non-opt-in email is spam.
also a suggestion, if theres not a choice you like on the poll why vote?
To reduce spam as much as possible.
