Hello pet lovers,

I wanted to bring this matter to your attention, especially if you are using the Banfield Pet Hospital in Campcreek, East Point Georgia.

I took my Lab to get its annually care to the above pet center which is located in Pet Smart Store.  I took Midnight in there around 8:30 am. I called and called to see if he was ready to be picked up. At 3:00 p.m. the receptionist stated that he was still not ready. Getting worried I went to Pet Smart, Banfield Hospital around 5:00 only to learn that they had injured his mouth and he was bleeding through his nose. I learned that the Vet who owns this Banfield had injured him.  She had him in a small confined pin with a leach around his next tied to the out side of the pin handle. The pin was small for a large cat. My lab is 2 years old and weights 51 llb. He could hardly raise his head with out choking.  I contacted Banfield Inc and Pet Smart, neither corporation has responded. My dog is on the wellington Plan. I had to pay the Banfield 45.00 dollars to sedate him so that she could check the status on his injuries. She to me to take the dog out of her Vet. the next day my dogs mouth begin to swell. I called the Vet she did nothing. I called another Banfield they referred me to an emergency hospital in Union City. I took my dog there. I paid around 257. 00 dollars to have my dog treated for his mouth injures. Help!

can you afford a lawyer? if you can sue them. i am so sick and tired of vets hurting pets and then acting like it doesn't matter. i had a vet actually cause my dogs death and then told me it was my own fualt for allowing him to have surgery. how the heck was it my fault? he had a tumor on his side it was infected they told me it had to be removed. when i argued and siad he was responsible he got all rude and siad its just a dog, that i could always get a new one. this same vet  treated a ladies horses here in town and one of the horses kept getting thinner and thinner. the lady kept calling the vet. he would look at the horse and tell her it was fine. finally she got fed up and told him look the horse is dyeing there is obviously something wrong. the vets reply was I'm a veterinarian your not if you don't like it see someone else. she did and they refused to see the animal because they didn't want no part of messing with another vets patient. the horse died like 2 days later. even if you lost the suit at least the jerks would maybe just for second realize it does matter.

First of all i would like to say that your lab is sooooooooo cute. i have one myself a chocolate one two years old his brother is black and looks the exact same as your dog. surprisingly the same thing happened to him. he went to the vet and they took hours and hours. finally his owner got fed up and went over there. he was in a cage three sizes too small and bleeding from his right leg, barely moving. he had gone to the vet for a minor surgery and according to the vet they had accidentally cut a main artery in mike's (the dog) leg. The vet then said that he was relunctant to call the owner for fear of that she would be upset. Mike ended up dieing and she sued the vet for everything they had and won. you should do the same thing. The worst part about this experience though is that the vet acted like the death was nothing to be upset about and that a dog is easily replaced. Well f.y.i. it's not!!! Mocha (my dog) and my hopes that your dog is doing great and feeling wonderful and that you sue and win.
