Cheese & bread were favorites with ours. Also enjoyed ice cubes, but they would stomp on them and scoot the cubes across the kitchen floor before eating them

I feed Canine Carry-Outs. They are questionable, but I feel that just as people eat questionable deserts and snacks, it's okay for dogs to do that too.

Bubba's a big boy, but his treats are rather small...I give him Buffalo jerky, REAL MEAT jerky treats, Solid Gold Tiny Tots-Lamb, and I make my own treats for him. All treats I buy must be made in the USA.

Jackson LOVES tangerines. It's so cute, whenever I start to peel one for myself he comes and sits right on my lap, licking his lips. He loves that, and watermelon -- seedless, of course.

If he goes that crazy for fruit, I figured he'd be fine not getting attached to any biscuits or other treats.

Hey People!  I haven't been on here in so long!  I see a bunch of you are still around..... and alot of new faces!  Now.... in answer to your topic... my two dogs, Corky and Casey, adore apples!  I started giving them apples as treats when Casey needed to lose weight.  By, the way she has lost 19 pounds in a year.... her vet is so proud her... (and me).... it was a struggle at first but well worth the effort she looks great!!!)

Maybelle and the labs usually get home made treats-my sister loves to make them. (&they make great gifts!) And in the summer they get ice cubes, carrots, and frozen kongs with P.B/carrot in them. And they all love bits of banana if they can mooch some offa some one.....

Those who stand for nothing fall for anything.

My dogs don't get anything commercially made. Not even dog food.

They get an all raw diet. Their treats are carrot, apple, and banana slices, And pieces of chopped raw roast beef.  NO onion, grapes, raisins, or chocolate though since they can kill them.
