I prefer attending classes with my dogs. It's fun and informative. I enjoy socializing with other dog owners. My dogs benefit from the socialization with other people and strange dogs and doing it together strengthens our relationship. Even though some people are quite capable of training on their own, classes allow new thoughts, ideas and techniques. It's a win/win situation.

I think it depends on the edutional level of the owner. If you are new at dog raising, then the training school is best. But if you are educated in dog obedience then do that on your own. Again, I think it really depends.
