I think you should cause I don't have one though I love them and spend lots of time with them, learning about them, and on this website, and I want to be a vet when I grow older. So I've been giving people advice and asking for some since I really want one. So even though I don't have one I put a pic of an aussie since that's one of the many dogs that I want but it's one of my favorites. And then when I finally get one the pic will be of my dog and not somebody else's.

If you don't have a dog I think it's fine if you go on with a "Virtual dog" I don't think you should have to put "VIRTUAL!!!!" on the name, but you do in "How we met" or "motto" or somewhere a lot of ppl look.

I think fake dogs should be removed as well ads for stuff.Check just the first two pages of the photo gallery and You'll see what I mean.Four pics. of the same cat and one from a magazine.

O yeah,and isn't club dog for dog owners to help each other with their problems and issues? Well the ones who already have experience with their dogs can give advice to those who are 1st time dog owners or considering buying a dog. In this case anyone who was considering buying their first dog would have to have a virtual dog blog. Enjoy DC!!!! NEVER LIE!!!! WAT GOS AROUND COMES BACK AROUND!!

I think that people should be able to make a blog with a virtual dog and keep it going without any trouble from other Club Dog members. However if anyone, even someone with a real dog blog is telling lies and purposely annoying and agitating other people in Club Dog they obviously shouldn't be allowed to continue causing problems!!! Club Dog is so much fun!!! I luv DC!!!!!!

You would need proper permission from the owner of the photo or you would basically be doing "plagiarism". Second I disagree that you should use a stuffed animal and post it on Dog Channel. This is a site for real dogs!! Not to create 100 fake dog profiles, get points, free stuff. I say if you don't own a dog and you want to be on a site go to the store, buy a webkinz dog and play with it on there. I think webkinz are $7.99 and sometimes they put them on sale. That is just my personal opinion.

um, webkinz is generaly a web site for 5-10 yr olds..(i think?) and not ANYTHING like DC... if someone realy wanted to be on here because of the discussions and what not,(and werent allowed) why in the heck would they wanna waste 15$ (btw, there are NOT $7.99, haha!!) on some stupid little virtual world where you get to spin the "wheel of wow!" and really is nothing like this website...

dont get me wrong i like webkinz, but it wouldnt be right for someone (also dosent make sense) who wants to be on a site like this and then you give them a suggestion to go to webkinz! lol... again not trying to be mean or anything!

plus to give my two cents on the whole topic... i think they should be allowed to join the fourm just not join club dog, since, i mean really they dont even have a dog whats the point of letting them on club dog? Its only about the dog that you own, if you dont own one then theres no point. plus my reason for letting them join the fourm is because they might just want to talk about dogs or sumthin! no harm in that!

Personally I find it wrong all together. You shouldnt just take a pic from anywhere and post unless you got permission from the acutual owner of the photo to post it! If you really want a Club dog profile and you don't have a dog...why not take a pic of one of your stuffed dog animals? I mean it is yours and your photo!

The whole virtual puppy thing is out of control on there! They got a bad reputation on there anyway, so your chances of getting DOTD on there are even lower because of the bad rep. the other people have given "virtual dogs".

That is exactly what I think! They shouldn't lie or take other people's dog pictures, like I have seen done.

Do you think that people who don't have a dog but really really want one should be able to just take a random picture from, say, Google and make up a name and stuff to put on Club Dog? Please say what you think!
