Dog of the Day Question

I searched but can't find an answer.
How does a dog become "Dog of the Day"? Is it strictly by votes..is the dog chosen by staff? Do you simply submit your dogs pic?
Is there a page that will answer all these questions? LOL

Imagine if you had to make the choice between feeding your children or your dog. that is what people are facing in todays hard economic times

so many people are in economic crisis that they have to give up their pets to feed their children. We should all consider doing something to help others in need. there is are great site called bowwow.bucks.org that is helping families in crisis keep their pets by paying for needed medication and pet food.

Pucco, my cute little dog, is entered in the cutest dog competion and his goal is to help other dogs stay with their families. If he wins he will be donating to organizations that help dogs and families in economic crisis. see how cute he is- let me know if you think he adorable.

They took all my points of my account for not going on alot for the second time!!!! I have been saving my points for about three years and now they are all gone in a blink of an eye. I have school and I rarely ever get free time. Is there any way Dog Channel can stop taking away people's points. I barely have any money either to buy stuff for my dog and he's getting really thin. (I get him dog food but he really doesn't like the cheapo brand but I don't blame him it smells weird.) This computer? School library it's break. I needed those points to get dog stuff. I think it was like 38,950. Is there any way I can get them back really fast like in a week????????? Or is there any way someone can transfer points that they do not want to me? PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE I NEED MY POINTS BACK THEY ALSO TOOK MY CAT CHANNEL POINTS BUT THOSE WEREN'T SO IMPORTANT BECUASE MY CAT DIED RECENTLY WITH CANCER

I have an 8 month old gorgeous black lab papered and all. I have always wondered how you can get involved in modeling your dog in their breed calendar, at petsmart, etc. Does anyone have any idea how to get involved in that?

My parents have met my puppy, a Brussels Griffon, 3 times. Each time they have come over, Precious will not get near my dad and even runs from him. Yesterday, when my parents were over, Precious ran from him and my dad tried to grab her. Unfortunately, she has stitches from just getting spayed 3 days ago.

I have tried holding her and introducing them slowly. Giving him a dog cookie to give to her and just sitting near him since she is close to me at almost all times. These things aren't helping and they aren't over a lot, but it worries me, especially since we live near Galveston Island, and we go with my parents and stay in their RV when we evacuate for hurricanes. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I think dog profiles that aren't visited anymore should be removed.I've seen profiles not visited for as many as 900 days still here.It makes searching profiles uselessly take much longer.Anyone else share my opinion?

Dog Blog Deleted

I deleted one of my dog blogs but it still has 1000 pts for having made it. I'm assuming that I won't be able to replace it and I can only have 3 but I need to make 4. Is there something I can do or someone I can talk to to delete that 1000 pts?

Also, I tried to replace the main photo for one of my blogs but it didn't change. How can I change the main photo? Please help!

Hello all. I have a 2 year old chocolate lab that for a few days ocassionally acted like she was trying to be sick with mouth wide open. this happened 3 times and was very brief and then she was acting normal agin. Sometime prior to that i found the remains of small black plastic comb that she had chewed up. She eventually had a more severe reaction that she actually was having a seizure, this lasted longer but again she came back to normal and i took her to the vet. he looked her over and in her mouth if there may have been remnants of the comb quills that may have been still irritating to her. Did not really find anything though he thought the back of her throat was a little red and she did have a bit of a fever. She is now on antibiotics and benadrill. My question is is the plastic itself toxic to dogs? She has not had another problem since we started the medication but it hasnt been very long and i try to keep her calm when i take her out to do her buisiness. thanks for any advice in advance. Grog

Problem Uploading Pictures

I hope someone can help me. I had a picture of my pup on his profile. Wanted to add more. When I did the original picture disappeared, and another picture replaced it. I did not delete the first photo, only wanted to add new ones. Now, I've added several more pictures that show on the upload page, but are not on the profile.

I hope this is an easy fix.

ok I am about to scream out of frustration...I am trying to do my club dog blogs and everytime I click on a page it says MISSING INDEX and the page is there but it says it aint! So then I gotta wait like 20 minutes and then it works for about...5 more blogs then it goes back to missing idex! Ughh... can you guys please fix it? Need Help with Puppy,s urinating in house

I have a 1/2 toy fox terrier&1/2 jack russell,we've had her for 3 1/2 weeks and have found her to be a submissive& excitable urinator. We got her from a rescue shelter when she was 13 weeks and is now 16 weeks old.We are housetraining her which is going fairly well but we have come up against a wall.We dont, know how she's doing it but she's putting out way more than she's taking in.Meaning that we take her outside to do her business ,she does,then will come back in the house and 10 min later,squat and go again,sometimes twice and she knows this is wrong.We've had her checked for tract infection and she checked ok.Does anyone out ther have any advice or help for us?She is very lovable and friendly but our patience is wearing thin.We called the shelter about bringing her back and they said they would put her down.I don"t think so.Please help us
