Hey Roxinator... your dog looks adorable! And I do know how certain dogs (like mine) just love attention! Did you check out the website that has nothing but pics of dogs with mohawks? You should check it out and see that there are a lot of dogs and owners who do enjoy creativity. It's at dogswithmohawks.com

p.s. I know there are a lot of purists out there for which dogs with mohawks just aren't their thing--so nothing against them... but hey, if we all thought alike (and if all dogs were alike), wouldn't this be a boring world?

I might have a mohawk, but I would not do that to my dog. I can make the decision, but HE can't voice his opinion. ( I DON'T have one, BTW) Of course, that's just me. Whatever floats your boat.

My friend has a dog named sheila she is a bearded collie once we dressed her up and she looked so cute and we made her have a mowhawk and we dressed up Anastacia in a rocker costume

I pitty that poor dog in that photo it looks so miserable in that photo. I think mohawks for dogs are ridiculous and plus the poor dog has that gunk in its hair to make it stay that way. I can't and don't even want to understand why people put their dogs through that.

People are free to do what they want to their dogs no matter how absurd it is. I am against dressing dogs up and I am against styling their fur in ways like that. I hope you realize in order to keep a mohawk up you have to have a lot of spray in it. The spray chemicals could harm your dog’s fur since their fur is a lot different than our hair. It could cause them to have a bad allergic reaction, have skin problems, kill the fur ect. I don't see how it would cute or anything. Just let the dog be.

*not ment to offend anyone but...* I think mohawks are UGLY, stupid and creepy looking. When I see somebody with a mohawk i think they are a punk or some kind of weirdo even though that maybe wrong. I would NEVER EVER in my life waste my time messing and ruining my dogs precious fur by giving him a creepy mohawk.

I think Simba haing a Mohawk would be awsome!! He would be the coolest dog on the block. If i ever get the chance, i would do it for the memory and because it would look good on him.

How many of you have seen a dog with a mohawk? I've heard that groomers (who might be more on the creative side) actually like doing these "doggie doos" which are definitely "out of the box"! It seems like you see them more in areas like Venice, etc. Would you consider this for your pooch? I personally think it might be fun to stroll around San Francisco with a mohawk dog---our poms love attention and they certainly would get it! Oh, and believe it or not, I found out about this from a website actually called Dogs with Mohawks--they're not selling anything, it's just photos, so I think it's okay to post it here: dogswithmohawks.com It's great for a laugh!
