i dont like online dating there are alot of weird and creepy people on there and you never know who you are really talking too.i totally stay away from those site.

I really find the "dating scene" all bizarre. I really watch all the sites that I am on because I don't want my computer to get something. My friend told me about this site but I was waiting around before I joined to make sure there wasn't anything bad. My friend told me about this one forum and there was porn posted on some of the topics. I have since then broke off the friendship with the person who showed me that site. I am not into porn or disgusting talk. I would much rather talk about my dogs and sports. Some of my friends actually do the online dating and I tell them they need to watch out because it might not be the person you are really talking too. There are so many "fakes" and "liars." Recently on the news there was a case of lady who met this guy online and they met and they got married. Well she thought she could trust him and here, two years later he tried poisoning her and acting weird and she picked up he was being different. Well she got out before he killed her. It’s really dangerous out there and I happen to notice there are kids on this site and I really want to get the point out to them that you DONT EVER trust anyone you meet over the internet. They might appear safe but you don't really know who they are. I would hate to hear someone on here was taken because they gave information out.

oh wow, i can't believe she married him. What surprised me is that he waited 2 whole years for that, it shows how much most creeps are determined to kill, and that send chills down my spine.

We have noticed that more and more people are beginning to date virtually on the site. I can't speak to whether they are kids or adults, but quite a few people do it.

As far as moderating the Clubs goes, we've let the dating slide as it is a virtual community. However, we've had to ban many members when arguments escalate to name-calling and profanity, and when members take their "relationships" too far on the site. In these cases rules are obviously being broken.

I'd suggest what some of the other members here have recommended; steer clear of those groups and stick to the ones that you feel comfortable in.

well i dont see what the fuse is about if they are adults and want this then i dont see a problem but if its children that is another issue and they should be moniter on what they do.i have noticed that there is alot of people causing stuff that shouldnt be because they think they are know it all and not get in trouble for it

Acutally, all age groups do the dog dating, Jr_and_me dog dates his dog over the net. Personally, I did it a few times and it got to be to much drama for me and now I am done with it. I think that you are thinking that its kids dating, its not. On club dog it is people acting like their dogs can talk and do human like things and they date their dogs. Its not real dating its all fake made up stuff. Sad to say that adults do it way more then kids.

LOL in MY words, i agree 100% with starry boy, but the thing that makes me anoyyed is when people will always say kids do this tisk tisk! so imature! and, well kids LOVE drama and start it all the time so they prob. do this... and blah blah blah. i dont want to sound rude but thats what i belive. some people think of themselves so much more mature and better than us silly little kids. now im not saying all kids are not like that cause some are its just it seems like "adults" think EVERY kid is a drama whatever. oh well it hasnt change, nor will it ever. (BTW, not saying all adults are like that.)

Well after being mesmerized by your usage of smily faces, I'd have to say that most adults have a reason to be wary of younger kids. I know for a fact that the community on DC has some disdain for smaller children for the trouble they cause. I myself have been a target of their tasteless humor.

However I think we are all getting off subject, and I still think that nothing much can be done about the drama starters on DC. We all just have to take into account our own actions and take correct actions if someone is messing with us. I think that will fix many problems! WOuldn't ya say?

Yes, I do that is why I am done with it. But you know about that too with. Its really full of drama and I dont suggest Dog dating to anyone. I really see no point in it, it is basically the person in love with the other person imo.

Some of the freinds Simba has are like that. I use to be one of them but i got tired of all of the fighting so now i try to avoid it. You can't do much except stay away.I don't mind being freinds with them but i know when it's time to stop.If you go to other site like Horsechannel and reptilechannel you notice that everything is exactly how it should be.I wish dogchannel could be like that but we've already been attacked.

Unless they are breaking the Terms of Service, in anyway, I don't think you can do much about it. However if you are talking about Club Dog, then I should let you know that those are probably the kids doing that. See I've been a part of Club Dog for over a year now, and I've noticed that there are groups that usually stick togther, the most distinct groups are the adults and whatever mature kids that don't cause trouble, and then there are the kids (usually 8-14) that love dating, drama, and IMing on their pages. If you don't like what you see in one group all you have to do is steer clear from them. If they come to you with something you don't like then report them. I'm afraid thats all you can do.

I have been looking through the different blogs and have noticed that some are set up simply to meet people, express their love, and there is one that is even labeled as a DATING SERVICE! What can be done to get rid of this trash? I considered this a website all about dogs and from what I used to see on here it would be a safe website for children, but not anymore. If this is what it's going to turn into I'll just have to stop participating.
