Dog Channel / Dog Channel Central / Report Bad Posts

Problems here on DC not taken care of spreadin to other sites.

Everyone that is on Club Dog knows that there is alot of DRAMA. Fake profiles and mean comments. I am really sick of nothing being done about it. This has gotten out of control, the people leaving the nasty comments are getting away with it and it is now spreading to other sites because these cimes are going unpunished.

Anyway, I would really like to suggest to the DC-Mods and owners that when you get a complaint or a reported comment from people can you please look into these people's mean comments and find their ISP Adress and ban them permentlly including their other profiles that are connected to the same ISP adress?!? This is really getting sick and tiresome having to deal with rude comments on other sites because the issues here are not bein taken care of. I understand that you give them warnings but these people don't care about warnings, they laugh it off saying "I wasn't banned, who cares" and does more. I was hurt by what was said and I won't STOP at anything to find out who this person is. They are even going AS FAR AS registering as someone elses email adress to reregister.

So Dogchannel, I beg you to please start taking action toward these mean drama causing people and ban them forever so this can all stop.

Dear friends...

I have a problem... I proudly posted photos of my puppy, Nina (#44062) to share with all of you, dog lovers!

BUT!... I found someone using my dog's photo as their own (they named the dog "muscle", #45581... )...

I'm really upset that this can happen!... I left few messages, and think that the points given to this impostor should go to the dog this photo belongs to, my Nina!... Please help me get this straighten out!... I don't appreciate having people do things like this ad getting away with it!...

Alright I want to apologize for being mean. Sorry for calling you a hypocrite I didnt mean that ok? I have been looking through the different blogs and have noticed that some are set up simply to meet people, express their love, and there is one that is even labeled as a DATING SERVICE! What can be done to get rid of this trash? I considered this a website all about dogs and from what I used to see on here it would be a safe website for children, but not anymore. If this is what it's going to turn into I'll just have to stop participating.

I have to apologize because it seems that there has been some vandalism of the dogchannel forums, I just wanted to let everyone know that I have had no part in this immature and unacceptable act, my friend texted me and told me that there was something going on here. I tried my best to stop it, and i did my best to report them.

I was digusted by the content of the threads, but I have no clue who this person is or why did they do it. All I know that its because of someone's obsession either for my dog or for making chaos or maybe both. I want to apologize to everyone, I feel that somehow this is my fault, I can only hope that this will NEVER happen again.

Most of you know, that i'm not around the DC forums much, and so i have no clue why this person used them as a target to such an immature act. Please accept my apologies, I only wish i had the power to make things better....

Stealing Photos to make a FAKE Profile

Hello fellow posters and pet lovers. Recently we had photos I had posted on our DogChannel Profile "stolen" and then posted by a LIAR saying my dog is their's! SAD to say the least. Rude, mean, and illegal to say more. I think this will get worse before it gets better though. I can't even imagine living a life where this would be alright to do. This person really needs some help and attention. So far, two of their "fake" Profiles have been deleted but now there is a third one day. They are
Winchester 37611 and they are saying, I stole THEIR photos. HAHAHAHA yeah right. Amazing that someone has such a meaningless life.

I am not sure if any of this is against the rules, but you might want to check out what people are saying in the advice advocate. It is in the Dog Talk section. I am the one who created it and people are taking over. They are not askingfor any advice at all. Instead they contridict daily and fill up many of my pages with things saying I dont know what I'm talking about. This is causing other people to not want to ome and ask for advice. the post has just become a section of people contridicting me and it has become a waste.

Can we become a mod.?

Just letting everyone know, the PM system has been re-enabled. Please do not harass other members thru the PM system or send people negative messages. If these problems happen again the PM may be disabled indefinitely.

We just would like to keep the DogChannel community positive and a fun place for everyone. The negative comments do nothing but discourage the other members and fuel even more hostility. That's not what we're about on this message board.

Thanks to everyone that has participated and helped to keep the positive attitude here. All you have done is greatly appreciated.

Because of so many reports, we've decided to suspend private messaging until things begin to cool off. During this time, members will only be able to receive PMs from the moderators and admin.

Also, during the suspension we will be cleaning out old PMs from your inbox. If you have PMs that you would like to keep, be sure to save them to your computer so that you won't lose them.

We want everyone to have a positive experience with other dog lovers on this forum and hope that the abuse of private messaging will cease.

Posting to simply raise post count

There are a few (some much more than others) who are posting to simply raise their post count. They are resurrecting ancient threads to simply say "o" or "i agree". This is inconsiderate to all other forum members who then waste their time reading these absurd posts because they think they are new. I assume it also takes up space on the site's server. I respectfully ask mods to bring this to an end if said members can't stop on their own.

I don't know if you moniter Club dog or not but there is a new member named Dori. She is going around to everyone saying this in purple :Your dogs so cute , Its Ugly. HaHa sucker.

I think Dori Should get band Soon. On her club dog membership, She just has a photo of the sky , but its not a dog.
