I will only repeat myself once more. I was no part of this argument until I was attacked. I am hardly the instigator of these ridiculous posts, nor am I the one who is "always seems to be in the arguments"...even this one began long before I was ever in the picture.

We all need to grow up, you cant blaim one person for starting the argument. Even though it is funny how certain members seem to always be in all the agruments, aint that right 2browndogs? I have like I did yesterday report this topic to the moderator. This is just nuts!! I am at school right now posting topics (in my web class) and I find fighting, if my teacher was to see that loard knows what she would do. I would post at home but I can't , I am blocked from this site. So tune it down people and Spenser/zac is right if you call yourselves "adults" why are you participating in this disaray? I have to agree with rainsmom there when she said "Vander needs to grow up." She really does, notice how she only gets on when drama is starting?

I am not saying that adults are better than kids or anything like that. I am just saying that The adults here should really be setting a good example for the kids. I think its really funny that everyone has said that this thread is stupid. But no one can seem to stop posting (including myself even though i said i was done ROFL). Anyway These are dog forums we are here to talk about how adorable our dogs are and talk about things we need help with. I know i need to resist making rude comments cuz i do want to state my opinion as fact. And I think everyone loves to argue it makes em feel important. But I MUST RESIST lol . sorry guys for any rude comments

Kids 0 adults 0 ....STOP arguing now the mod got on yesterday "Deleting" the argument topics and what do you do? Find another topic to argue on!! Now I think the DC-Mod needs to have some serious conversations with certain members about their behavor on the boards, note even DC-Mod told that dagon lady to not be so rude in her posts on that 12 yr old dog still pees in house topic, she didnt say that word for word but in lamenss terms that is what she ment. So I am not alone in thinking that dagon needs one of them serious talks along with others who I will not name to save another argument. If you can't post without insulting somebody then don't post at all because the other person feels like they have to defend themselves. If you look back through this thread, you will see that I never even joined in on this thread until the very end, and I never even discussed what was being argued. The arguing had started long ago, and I was no part of it.
Zacks2cute, I beg of you to find a single post where I was "mean" to you. I actually don't remember having ever addressed a single post of yours...don't even remember who you are, in fact.

This is getting way out of hand. 2BrownDogs didn’t even join in this thread until it was already an “argument”. Please stop putting all the blame on one person, as there is no one person at fault here in my opinion, because everybody is fighting therefore everyone is to blame. If you respond back to a mean comment with a mean comment you are just continuing the “fighting”. If everyone would try to read and think about the posts more carefully before responding we might not have so many fights!

too me you are the one being childish and rude dagon has every right to her oppinions, and I do not think all her posts are yes. some of the recent posts by many of the board members are getting out of hand. that is no reason for all the arguing

I don't get that, 2brown says its not arguing its debating and you say its arguing. Apperntly it is arguing because the DC-Mod deleted them 2 other topics that were out of hand.

What I don't seem to understand is why everyone here seems to think simply disagreeing with ones viewpoint is an argument. There is an ability to debate maturly and respond to disagreements without calling someone a "big bully" or a "meanie". I frequently disagree with people about issues (including those close to me) and we don't break out in giant name calling fests, we either say "okay, no big deal" or find a crediable source as a counter argument.

Its a still everyone needs to learn, and I think some people here are still having issues distinguishing between "Disagreement" and "Fight".

Ah...no I'm not kidding. Look, I don't know how many dogs are in China, I don't live there! But I just heard somewhere that it's higher than the U.S.A and Canada. I know that there is lots of dogs around, but I just wanted to let you know I heard this. Why are you saying "I really thought people know better"?

China is a komunist country, total controll.
My husband travels frequently to shanghai, and believe me, the stories I could tell, I am not.
I do not think much of china.

Very well said. SOME Americans are to stupid to see that all China is doing is trying to kill us and then act so innocent. Japan is smarter then america, they figured out that the food posingings and lead wasn't a mistake, it was on purpose to whipe that country out so China has total control. I love America, I have people fighting in this war but honestly when it comes down to the honest hard truth...America is one of the stupidest counties, we all just follow the herd like a bunch o old cows trotten down the slotter house. It is really sad to see all the people who fight for this country then to see people let it go down..nothing like saying thanks, but no thanks. People need to start waking up. 1st it all started with peoples morals going down and then they all started following the herd...My mom only buys stuff in america or other countries like Germany, france, england. She will buy only chinise stuff if its from a good company and highly expensive.

The dog population is high everywhere except here. That's why there are adoption of dogs from places like Porto Rico. It's especially high there cause they don't or can't have there dogs spayed and neutered

I wouldn't say that we dont have an overpopulation problem, or else we wouldnt have animal shelters, and dogs/cats would not be put to sleep due to lack of homes.

also not saying I dont feel sorry for the dogs of foriegn countries, but when you adopt from them thats another US dog that could have been adopted but wasnt!

one more thing. yes dogs/cats used to be veiwed as just another food source and yes some of they older generations still do eat them but their has been a change in the way they veiw these animals they are starting to be valued more for companionship than as a food source.

In fact, some of the best quality poodles have come from Japanese breeders in recent years. Vicki, the toy poodle who won group 1 at westminster this year (and last year) was of Japanese breeding, as was Coleman, the poodle who was #1 show dog in the USA a few years back. Stating people in these countries eat dogs or do not value them as pets is a gross generalization backed up by few facts.

We didnt say all of them were eating cats and dogs but it is true they do. At first we americans thought thats how the asians were getting the outbreak of Sars because of the majority of them who were eating cats & dogs over there.

My honest opinion on that, its there problem not ours. They acutally eat cats and dogs over there. Just sick/wrong. Seems like they have out of control birth rates over there they had to limit it to one chilid per house hold. That is just my opinion.

Yea I heard that in Japan they have the best cows! Free range and they brush them and take care of them unlike here where we treat our poor cows like crap! Now I understand why our meat sucks because of the way we treat the animals before we kill them. Also I heard they were starting to clone meat and put it in the stores.

The mentality of these people is not to be compared to ours.
They do not look at a dog as a pet.
China & Korea have Dog farms, like we have pig farms, you pick your dog, they killed it skin it and you cook it.

To them a dog is not a pet, as they are to us.
And it is too expensive for the average person to spay and neuter there animals.

My husband goes on frequent business trips to china, and he does not tell all the things he sees, because he knows it upsets me.
It took him a while to get his mind in the right directions, due to the lack of education what spay and neuter is concernd and the mindset of the people not looking at a dog as a pet.

what is completely unspeakable for us, is normal culture for them.

Yuck!! Cooked dog? That is just cruel and nasty no wonder they have all those sicknesses over there because they eat all that slop that your not supposed to eat. I guess over there a hot dog really must be a hot DOG. I dont understand why they just can't put all the dogs to sleep if they are overpopulated with them.
