Yah know what Brooke, that is really rude! Why would you go smart mouthing somebody whose pet just passed. WHY?? What are you thinking! I can't even believe someone would do that. Well i'm sorry but I would be very upset if someone said that to me when i lost a pet.

Look here I am not smart mouthing you, and I am not being rude, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, if your not going to like some of the feedback then don't post anything, simple as that. Seriously though how do you think are going to describe there dogs death its obvisouly not a happy and joyful time. And I was agreeing with Danielleh sad & emotional are practically the same, being sad is an emotional feeling. So knock it off, not everyone is going to sugar coat everything for you, and some of us don't like 2 or 3 of the exact same topics being posted, ITS BORING , try thinking of your own topics instead of re-posting sum 1 elses. Thats just my personal and honest opinion which I am entitled to. gees don't get your panties in bunch...

wow.. that was not called for! and second, obviously she didnt know this was already said, she must have been new or not on in a long time, you cant blame her! and its her honest and personal question, that shes entiteled to ask. but i do agree everybody is entitled to there own opniions...

No, it wasn't called for, but did you notice the date on that?? It was 2 years ago. I did the same thing on another post yesterday, so I know how easy it is for that to happen, lol, but don't expect her to respond

It is very hard to deal with the loss of an animal. I find it better to talk to someone and let all the emotions out.

"brooke farrah" nobody said it was happy or joyful, their is not one word up there that is even CLOSE to being synonymous.

back to the poll:

i would have to say other, because there are so many emotions you go through.devastation, sometimes remorse. Its a whirlwind of emotions. From my experiences, the reson its so hard to let go is because they love you more than themselves.

Did you ever stop and think that maybe the other is for if someone would rather say "devastating", or something they feel better represents their emotion, because some terms dont quite get the point across?

I for one cant even think of a term that represents how much luckys tragedy has affected me.

i can think of alot of diffrent terms. The reason its so hard to let go of a dog, is because a dog is the one thing that loved you more than itself. And my experiences with Lucky (cocker spaniel 10/8/06-12/17/07), and hazel (rhodisian ridgeback 07/18/05-present), its ENTIRELY true.

I myself was in shock when we had to put my benjamin to sleep. he had spleen cancer and I grew up with dogs all my life but I never seen them die, I wanted to be sure that my face was the last face my benjamin seen, and I tell you it was the hardest thing I have ever gone threw in my life at the time. i think of my ben all the time, but it did prepair me for when we had to put our bunny littleman down he was only 3 and ended up having continus seziers the dr's said he was not going to come out of them. I drove and hour away to the vet at 2:00am because I could not watch and hold my little man go threw this again. It was more peaceful to me when I had to put little man to sleep. This picture of Ben was 2 days before we had to put him to sleep. and the pictures of little man was that night I had to make the hardest decision. I hope it does not ofend anyone that I took these pictures but our little man and ben are burried on our land. my daughter that owned little Man is in the Marines and I needed pictures to show her what was going on with one of the loves of her life.

In my opinoin the answer for me would be a feeling i cannot describe. Its hard to say how i feel about pet loss!

Guys, calm down! Angel, can you please stop flipping out everytime someone says something blunt? I know it can boil the blood a bit, but try taking a step back to cool off before replying. That way you can go over it again and see if they really did mean to be hurtful or rude.

Brooke, you seem the type to tell it exactly how you see it. That's great, and I know this is a touchy subject anyways, but you did word your first sentence with a bit of an offensive ring. That's why she's wigging out on you.

And as to the poll, I agree it's all three. It's emotionally devastating, it's pure sorrow and agony, and just on over-all terrible thing to go through.

what kind of question is this, how do think someone would describe there dogs death. I am pretty sure no one is going to anything other then its was sad, and they miss there dog. I think I agree with Taboolynn R U Okay? and I think danielleh is right, sad, emotional, are the same thing. sad is an emotional feeling.

If you are religious, them say that your dog has gone to Heaven, or that your dog has gone to a place where all her wounds heal up and he\she is never sick anymore, and that you will see her someday, maybe with some angel wings, and a halo!
