What a pretty fish.....I'm so sorry about your loss. I understand why your crying so much. We've had four fish and they've all ended up dead. It irritates me that your dad is mad at you for crying. Doesn't he understand that we grieve the loss of the ones we love? Apparently not in this case. Maybe you can get a new fish, one that will swim it's way into your heart and help ease the pain.

thanks for the sympathy. well my cousin works in a pet store and she knows alot about dogs,fish and other animals and she gave me the fish. She has hers in the save vase and it lived for a long time. My mom refuses to have a fish tank. She dont want one sitting around and my rooms to small for one. So the vase is all that I am allowed. My cousin said they are made for vases but they do live longer in filtered tank. The new fish is doing great, its about 70 here and hes enjoying the heat. Happy April everyone!

cute fish! sorry about your loss. Have you ever researched betta fish on the internet? I read its not good to keep them in vase. unlike other fish they actualy go to the surface and breathe air!

Its been a tough morning but my mom finally took my to get a new one. His name is bobby jon blue and he is blue/green. He has bigger tail fin then my other betta. He is doing fine in his vase he just got done eating. He seems kind of big and old so I hope he dont die soon. I wish they sold baby bettas. Well I love bobby jon blue Here are photos below :

My fish Memo-Erik died last night. Im in tears..crying. He was the only pet that was allowed in my room. This came on suddenly. My dad is mad because I crying. I will miss him. I will miss you memo-Erik
